Master's in
Education for Participation
Description of the Master’s programme:
Just as children and youth grow and change, the ways that youth engage and participate in their communities also evolve. That’s why the Master’s in Education for Youth and Child Participation (MEPIJ)-developed by Fundación Plan B and the Universidad de Salamanca-provides keys for intervening from a systemic point-of-view (academic, institutional, and social) with children and youth who desire to have an active role in social transformation.
This Master’s programme has an international impact and offers the possibility to do an internship in a non-profit or social organisation in Spain or different countries in Latin America. It’s a one-year programme (60 ECTS) and it’s divided into mandatory subjects that are taught 100% online, an internship and a Master’s thesis.
Professional internships:
The Master’s internships are done with social organisations- like NGOs, foundations/associations, educational institutions- in Spain and countries in Central and South America (Ecuador, Colombia, Peru, Bolivia, and more).
In the internships, students will carry out tasks related to the Master’s content, in order to put into practice the theoretical concepts covered in their classes. Most of the organisations cover room and board and internet connection.
