Project description:
The “Kumpirs” project, designed and implemented by Fundación Plan B, is a children’s participation group in the neighbourhood of Pizarrales in Salamanca.

It seeks to give children the prominence they deserve in the urban world, allowing them to be active agents of change in their own realities. Through games, activities and workshops, we give them the tools to analyse their community and its necessities, thus enabling them to generate constructive and real changes in their environment.

The project objectives are:
• That children from the neighbourhood participate actively and learn how to analyse needs and improvements that can be done for the neighbourhood where they live, demand their rights, as well as fulfil their duties in their community and contribute to the common good.
•To gain confidence and the proactive ability to detect and improve problems that affect children in their neighbourhood.
• Reflect on the situation in their neighbourhood and city, especially regarding children’s needs.
