Project description:
«BITaminadas» (BITamized) was a project designed and implemented by the Fundación Plan B with the support of the Fundación Esplai and the Plataforma Red Conecta. The objective was to introduce girls between the ages of 11 and 17 to programming and new technologies.

Reflecting upon the small number of women they knew of who worked in the science field, they aimed to increase the visibility of women who have played an important role in the history of STEM but were not recognised. Once they were inspired, the girls started their training in computer science and put their acquired knowledge into practice by developing technological tools, such as a mobile application, a video game, and a website.
